Hotel Adèle & Jules

Paris has the ability of offerng us a hotel diversity much beyond most other cities. We are able to find hotels with centuries of history, or a big international chain hotel, as well as we can find a simple, but extremely elegant Boutique Hotel. And it’s about one of these I’m gonna talk today.

The Hotel Adèle & Jules is a cozy and charming four stars Boutique Hotel, just a few months old, it combines the comfort of a family home with the luxury of a hotel.

It’s property of the De Lattre family, and it came to join 2 “older brothers”, the successful Hotel Recamier and Hotel Thérèse (see), also in Paris.

Designed by the architecture office Artefak – Bastie & Behzadi, the hotel is divided between two buildings full of windows, each with its own breakfast room, bar and 30 bedrooms. The interior was in charge of the famous interior designer Stéphane Poux.

First Impression
Located in the 9th disctrict, with the usual bustle of the city, it would be expected for that to reflect in the hotel, but that’s not the case, Adèle & Jules is strategically hidden in a calm and small alley, giving it an haven kind of feeling.

The typically Parisian elegance and charm are felt even outside the hotel, in a white facade decorated with windows.

At the entrance, is the small and cozy reception where we can see perfectly an urban style, with retro elements mixed with contemporary and elegant furniture.

We are accompanied to the room next to the reception to relax a bit while the check-in is take care of. It’s decoration overwhelms me immediately!

A combo of vibrant colors, creating different shapes and contrasts among furniture, art pieces and walls. We came to realize this is also the area where guests may relax, have a drink and have breakfast.

Bedrooms
There are 60, divided by the two areas of the hotel. And they’re of four types, Parisian Superior, Faubourg Deluxe, Boulevard Club and the Capital Junior Suite. We stayed in a Boulevard Club, a roomy bedroom of 23m2, with a mixture of colors where the highlight goes to the green, an eclectic space, with graphical elements combined with some exoticism.

Waiting for us was a gift, a tasty chocolate from Angelina, as well as a welcoming letter, handwritten – something so rare these days, unfortunately!

The bathroom, gorgeous, immaculately white, awarded us with the fragrant Fragonard products.

Restaurant/Bar
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, but a Bar and Lounge, like a Honesty Bar, perfect to relax. In a modern and bohemian style, marked by the exoticism of the colors combination, with comfy sofas, interesting music and soft light.

Here we had the chance to have breakfast, and snacks in a relaxed evening. From 4pm to 6pm the guests can relax while having tea or a drink and snack, all included in the stay.

Services
Adèle & Jules is a four star hotel that almost behaves like a five star. It has Wifi, Laundry, Concierge, Room service during the day, transfers to (and from) the airport and the train station.

Besides it also has a gym, from 7am to 10pm, and the possibility of having massages in the bedroom.

To those wanting to discover the city, the hotel has bicycles available to rent, besides organizing cultural programs and tours.

If you’re traveling for work or simply want to organize an event or celebration, the hotel has a room with capacity for 16 seated people, or 20 standing, with a similar atmosphere to the rest of the hotel and a private bar.

Service
True smiles welcomed us from the beginning to the end, in a relaxed environment that could easily be our home!

Apparently we are left at ease, with all the possible discretion, making the biggest luxury to be the peace and serenity of everything going on at the hotel, but yes, there’s always someone alert to our needs.

A hotel that is still a baby, but with a very promising future, very close to the current travelers, seeking for comfort, art and well-being, not at all pretentious.

See you soon!
