I’m going to talk to you about one of the most luxurious, exquisite and memorable experiences we’ve ever had!
We had the privilege to visit a place capable of reuniting all the comfort, beauty and the art of hospitality.

The Conrad Algarve Hotel, open since 2012 and located in Quinta do Lago, is already considered one of the best hotels in Portugal, having collected the most varied hospitality awards worldwide.

It is a contemporary hotel, with 154 rooms and suites, divided by 6 floors, of modern design with Moorish references. The entire building was meticulously thought and built under the shape of a Portuguese palace from the XIII century. About the rooms, everything was thought out to the smallest detail, since the size of the areas, the balcony and the detailed marbles, without forgetting the most sinful bathtub TV.
Conrad offers a genuine reflection of the region’s culture, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, lakes, gardens and pools. It is amazing to wake up in the morning and take a glimpse, through the room’s window, at the heart of the Natural Park of Ria Formosa.
Gusto By Heinz Beck

This hotel manages to create memorable moments in our thought through all of its services, since the different restaurants, the Gusto (of the acclaimed chef Heinz Beck, 3* Michelin at the La Pergola in Rome), the Louro, of Portuguese influence, and the Dado, with Southern American roots, to its pubs, the Lago Lounge and the Sereno, next to the pool. With the closure of Gusto when we were visiting, we ended having dinner at Louro, which revealed to be an interesting surprise with an Australian at the helm of a kitchen with Portuguese inspiration, but we’ll talk about that in a forthcoming article.
Back to the pools, there’s a great option set thus forming one of the hotel’s ex-Libris, from the infinity pool to the interior pool, passing through its various lakes.

We also had the opportunity to know the Spa, created thinking exclusively in relaxation, with personalized treatments in a private and gorgeous environment. The center of well-being is completed with a fitness center, a tennis court and the concierge golf service, an important service for one of the touristic targets of the region, being Algarve’s courses representative of the region.
Besides all this, and thinking of the business tourism, there’s a hall and six large meeting rooms, with natural light and modern design.

Kids Palace
One of the most fascinating things to me was the Kids Palace, not that I have any children of my own, but because I thought it was wonderful the concern to build a space for the kids, created by other kids, yes it is true, the complex for children to spend their time, while their parents enjoy the stay was created with the help of children from local schools! Another thing that delighted me was the partnership between the Conrad and a local Art Gallery, making amazing sculptures and paintings available to the users of the hotel, and that can be bought by those who wish to.
All the services that we can think of are present at Conrad, all of them thought to anticipate all our needs. For example, not being on top of the beach like most of the hotels in Algarve, it provides a shuttle, always available, for the guests that wish to know the fantastic beaches of the region. Speaking of guests, the hotel seeks not only the Portuguese clients but also different international markets, so there are no language barriers between clients and the well prepared staff.
It is hard to describe what’s the feeling when you’re in Conrad, I’m sure that the greater the happiness the harder it is to put it into words!
I can simply tell you that a service of excellence and luxury was offered, with the most perfection possible.
After all it is still possible to be King or Queen for a day!
