We began at the bar, where the cocktails hinted at the attention to detail awaiting us. We opted for the\u00a0<\/span><strong>Old Fashioned Brilhante<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, a house signature, and a\u00a0<\/span><strong>Pisco Sour<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. Based on Bourbon whiskey, the former stood out for its well-integrated elements and refined aesthetics\u2014a robust cocktail that perfectly matches the ambiance. The earthy and creamy notes of the pur\u00e9e were well refreshed by the emulsion, forming a well-executed dish that would have benefited from higher-quality scallops.<\/p>\n<p>Next, an expertly cut and prepared classic <strong>beef tartare<\/strong> offered just the right spice level and balanced seasoning. A carne, alta e suculenta, foi cozinhada no ponto desejado, com um molho bastante mais apetitoso do que as vers\u00f5es mais convencionais do prato. O pur\u00e9 de batata trufado, que acompanha o prato, \u00e9 rico e indulgente, mas novamente o \u201ctrufado&#8221; surge como um elemento que rouba a honestidade que o prato poderia ter. A frescura da salada de alface \u00e9 o equil\u00edbrio necess\u00e1rio para completar o conjunto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The centerpiece of\u00a0<em>Brilhante<\/em><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><strong>\u00a0is its steak<\/strong>\u2014a modern, refined interpretation of the historic\u00a0<\/span><strong>Bife \u00e0 Marrare<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, a dish that has long marked Lisbon&#8217;s culinary landscape. The thick, juicy meat was <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">cooked to perfection<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, accompanied by a sauce far superior to conventional versions. The truffled mashed potatoes were rich and indulgent, though the &#8220;truffled&#8221; element once again compromised the dish&#8217;s authenticity.
