With our visits to restaurants and the scarce Portuguese presence in international wine lists, the wine made the most sense for us to publicize.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/allard-3gr.jpg\" rel=\"mfp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6475\" src=\"http:\/\/www.flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/allard-3gr.jpg\" alt=\"allard - 3gr\" width=\"540\" height=\"810\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/allard-3gr.jpg 540w, https:\/\/flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/allard-3gr-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a> <span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>Restaurant Allard (Alain Ducasse)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And so begins our \u201cWine on Tour\u201d, during our last visit to Paris and with the support of Symington and its <em>Graham\u2019s<\/em> (to whom I thank in advance for all the support in our initiatives), we were accompanied by a special Port wine, <em>Graham\u2019s Tawny 20 years<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A wine we consider to be very versatile, and which because of the dried fruit notes, orange peel and well balanced sweetness could easily become an excellent company for the most traditional desserts of the French cuisine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Le-Chiberta-2-gr.jpg\" rel=\"mfp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6532\" src=\"http:\/\/www.flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Le-Chiberta-2-gr.jpg\" alt=\"Le Chiberta - 2 gr\" width=\"540\" height=\"810\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Le-Chiberta-2-gr.jpg 540w, https:\/\/flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Le-Chiberta-2-gr-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em> Restaurant Le Chiberta (*Michelin)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus, armed with \u201cPortugal in a bottle\u201d, we went to some excellent Parisian restaurants, challenging <em>sommeliers<\/em> to harmonize their desserts with the <em>Graham\u2019s 20 years<\/em>, and serving it fresh (an idea that many people don\u2019t yet have about Port wine).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The result could not have been more interesting, 1st: everyone who tried it in our company surrendered to the quality of the wine (even though France is a big Port wine market, usually it sticks with the lower ranges), 2nd: from desserts like the Meringue Lemon Tart, cheeses and the <em>\u00cele Flotant<\/em> at <em>Allard<\/em> of Alain Ducasse, the Opera Cake of Guy Savoy or the cheeses at <em>Septime<\/em>, everything worked in perfection with this delicate and versatile Tawny.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The wine was also offered to some people, like all the team from<em> Allard<\/em> (<a title=\"Restaurant Allard\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flavorsandsenses.com\/en\/restaurant-allard\/\">see more<\/a>), Chef Betrand Gr\u00e9baut from <em>Septime<\/em> (<a title=\"Septime\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flavorsandsenses.com\/en\/septime\/\">see more<\/a>), and the master Jean-Paul Montellier, who received us so well in the room of <em>Le Chiberta<\/em> (<a title=\"Le Chiberta\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flavorsandsenses.com\/en\/le-chiberta\/\">see more<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We hope they have put it to good use, and that Port Wine will start being part of their harmonization.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Dupondsmith-28gr.jpg\" rel=\"mfp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6589\" src=\"http:\/\/www.flavorsandsenses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Dupondsmith-28gr.jpg\" alt=\"Dupondsmith -
