There is no doubt that MAD Symposium (event organized by Ren\u00e9 Redzepi of Noma) is one of the most attended and inspiring gastronomic events in the world nowadays. His relaxed feeling, the informal ambiance and the TED style presentations about food, make the tickets sell out quickly and take all the gastronomic pearls to Copenhagen.<\/p>\n

In the Last MAD4 with Alex Atala (D.O.M) as co-curator, there was a speaker that should bring pride to any Portuguese. Isabel Soares, Co-founder of “Fruta-Feia<\/a>“, presented to the world, with a touch of simplicity, humility and shine, the project that she gave birth to. “Fruta Feia” promotes the use of vegetables and fruits that have great quality but don’t present the “image” or beautifulness that big distributors are looking for. Without selling these good food items, they normally create tons of waste. ( since they began they saved 41 tons of food waste).<\/p>\n
